Standards and Trade Development Facility
STDF is a global partnership established by FAO, OIE, the World Bank, the WHO and the WTO. STDF supports developing countries in building their capacity to establish and implement international sanitary and phytosanitary standards (SPS), ensuring health protection and facilitating trade expansion. They use D-Sight’s tools in a variety of developing countries to establish priorities between competing SPS investments. Fluxys
Fluxys makes extensive use of fiber optic cables in order to manage all gas usage communications (e.g. measure, remote control, etc.) Fluxys had to buy hundreds of miles of new cables of various capacities (ranging from 8 to 144 fibers per cable) to renew part of its optical network. By using D-Sight, the team was able to conduct a faster offer evaluation process. While saving their time, D-Sight gave them the possibility to immediately get a global idea of what the providers offered. Furthermore, as the team held progress meetings, the interaction between the buyer and the engineer was significantly improved. Indeed, the interactive interface of D-Sight allows the stakeholders to easily understand the results. The numerous tools available within D-Sight allow for a more profound offer comparison. By empowering the users to perform sensitivity analysis, the stakeholders are comforted in their choices and can easily and rigorously justify them. In addition, D-Sight provides a results export feature for simple report creation.
Region Wallonne
The Walloon Region is one of the three Regions that make up the Federal Belgian State, the other two being the Flemish Region and the Brussels-Capital Region. The Walloon Region has an area of 16,844 km² (55.18% of Belgium) with nearly 3.5 million inhabitants (32.4% of the Belgian population). D-Sight developed a tailor-made plugin, based on D-Sight Desktop, with a automated integration of an existing database in order to gather and analyze data with a customized reporting system.
Eifer
More than ten years ago, EDF and the University of Karlsruhe (now: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, KIT) decided to establish a common research institute devoted to energy and the environment in Karlsruhe, called EIFER, European Institute for Energy Research. Considered as the first R&D international center of the EDF Group, complementing the assets of the EDF Research & Development with around 2000 researchers, its mission is to develop a strong connection with the German academic institutes, mainly with KIT, counting 8000 researchers and 18000 university students, and build a high level German and European partnership network.

The Department of National Defence is a Canadian government department responsible for defending Canada’s interests and values at home and abroad. National Defence is the largest department of the Government of Canada in terms of budget as well as staff. The Department is headed by the Deputy Minister of National Defence, who is the Department’s senior civil servant, and reports directly to the Minister of National Defence.

Belgian Road Research Centre
The Belgian Road Research Centre (BRRC) is a privately operated public utility research institute created in 1952 by application of a decree-law of 1947 aimed at promoting research in industry. In its over fifty years of existence, it has built a solid reputation at both the national and international levels as an impartial trend-setting center for research in the areas of road design, construction and maintenance. Moreover, it has recently extended its expertise to the fields of road safety, mobility, and environment-friendly road construction.
Ecorem
Ecorem is an independent multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering company active in the environmental sector. D-Sight trained Ecorem’s team on how to use D-Sight’s software efficiently and understand the different features. The training clarified how the D-Sight tools could support Ecorem when conducting environmental impact assessments.

Formal Design is a recently established design company working within the fields of product design, product development and visual communication, with its bases in Stockholm and Gothenburg. They hold several innovative patents and their designs have won 10+ major design awards. Formal Design AB and their subsidiary Formal Design Collective helps companies with strategy work, education and coaching as well as top quality product design, hands-on product development, brand identity, usability and interaction design.
Center For Coastal Health
The Centre for Coastal Health (CCH) is a non-profit which identifies and understands the interactions of human, animal and environmental health. Culture based fisheries in Sri Lanka constitute an important livelihood for people living near perpetual and seasonal tanks, providing inexpensive protein, income and employment for rural people. Sri Lankan rural communities rely heavily on state sponsored activities for access to fish fingerlings. An effective mechanism is needed to support the existing system of fingerling production to increase culture based fisheries in tanks. By using D-Sight Web (the collaborative platform offered by D-Sight), CCH was able to involve all the stakeholders into the decision-making, analyze the different production systems and understand the reasons behind each of the final scores and ranking. Following a data-driven process allowed CCH to conduct the workshops more easily and reach a consensus decision. The analysis showed that culture based fisheries stakeholders, preferred a National and/or Provincial collaborative approach to breeding and nurturing of fish to the post larvae or fry stage, with post larvae or fry to fingerling rearing being conducted by: National and provincial hatcheries; Community based organizations; Private pond owners.

The Brussels Airport Company is the company that has been awarded the license to operate Brussels Airport, Belgium’s largest international airport. The license has been granted by the Belgian State, which holds 25% of the shares. The procurement department at Brussels Airport Company uses D-Sight’s tools when evaluating tender offers and selecting the most suitable supplier in a standardized process.

STIB is the largest Belgian urban public transport company. Its network has 4 metro lines, 18 tram lines, 50 bus lines and 11 night bus lines. D-Sight consulted for STIB in assessing and choosing the most adapted technology in order to recover braking energy in trams and metros, resulting in thoroughly justified recommendations.
DCNS
DCNS group is a naval defense company based in France and is one of Europe’s leading shipbuilders. The group designs, builds and supports surface combatants, submarines, systems and equipment. DCNS is also expanding into new markets in civil nuclear energy, marine renewable energy and naval and industrial services. They use D-Sight’s software solution to compare system equipment based on technical specifications as well as financial factors to make global value analyses.
Italferr
Italferr is the infrastructure company of the Ferrovie dello Stato Group, the Italian railway engineering company operating both in domestic and international markets. They use D-Sight to compare the different options when constructing new railway lines, stations, nodes etc. Several routes for railway lines are for example compared taking financial, technical, environmental, and functional aspects into account.
